MYSPACE   COMING....

I feel like a movie producer saying this, but hey, its true.

Due to popular demand, constant naggin from friends, i am getting a myspace. Only thing is im insanely busy right now, but it is coming. It will be up and running before thanksgiving. I will be starting from scratch. No garagesaleboi or any other previous names i had. This is fresh.

I'll update this every step of the way to gettin my space.

FINAL DAYS

Well its been a month since i updated. Alot has happend this month. I made my school play, got awesome senior pix, got a riase at work, several new career opertunities, a girl in my life, different bedroom, parties, u name it.

My senior year rocks.

Xanga has been with me through thick and thin. I remember times typing with friends or after parties, and i remember times while i typed with tears. I've been a xangodian (my word for a xanga user) since beginning of my sophmore year of high school. Its been over 2 years.

IT saddens me, (honestly), that i will probably no longer be updating this beautiful blog of luaghter and hysteria, along with typical craze ever again. I am, yes.....cue the dramatic shocking music *DHHHHH......... (violin) DHHHHH* I am getting a myspace. yes, a myspace. Myspace seems centered more for the kids going into college soon, and who have less time to share about their lives, but to simply put pictures and leave messages to one another. I need this now.

I have had alot of fun with my xanger. (that didnt sound dirty.) I've had people update it for me, put crazy pictures on it, had hillarious comments, and for records, i believe i had somewhere around 50 posts total (on this name and my other name) and my highest comment record was 33.

Now i look forward to setting up myspace at striegle beagles house. (that sounded gay) Streegs house. (Better)

Xanga, i respect what you have done for the common high school student. But i must depart now. We've had alot of fun. sharing my crazy, hillarious moments with the world, and you never crashing on me (cept for that time back in '04).

With this, I thank you all for reading, and hope to meet all of my current readers (the ones who still aren't warped into myspace) on myspace to be my friends. Behalf of me, and myself, Thank you for the good years Xanga. God bless.

Mistakes

Sure we all make 'em. One of em would be how I bought this stupid wood allen movie. Sure will ferrel is great, but i missed the "directed by Woody Allen."

(case you dont know who woody allen is, he is considered a god to senior citizens at the old folks home with his true, life-valued lessoned movies)

i also made the mistake of eating at old country buffet. Yes, you know, the place that hasnt changed the carpet, tiles, food, layout, etc since i was born. I swear on the 7th day of creation, God mumbled before he rested, "Let there be Old Country Buffet." and it was so....and it has been so for eons now. Yes, OCB.....feeeding greater grand rapids, the kitchenette if you will.lol. im horrible.

Finally, the highlight of last nite...kristen let me, pat, steve, noah, and striegle stay the nite at the house she was house sitting at. At first we were fighting over the master bed, but then we saw the owners picture. huge guy kinda...that kind of guy that says, "if i come home and find you in my bed, im gonna cut your @#$#ing head off."' lol. and then, the main highlight....the following is an actual conversation by the now hillarious Steve Mordyke.

STEVE: The people that live in this house are so ultra conservative....no beer in the fridge, and all they have are disney movies.

DEREK: Dude, even if they did, drinking isnt a sin. These are just really nice christian people

STEVE: The lady didnt even have thongs

DEREk (akwardly) what the.....

STEVE: i walked through their bedroom and looked in their drawer. No thongs, all panties.

I dont think i have laughed that hard this entire year. the next 5 minutes was me rolling on the ground, almost crying, laughing at my no boundaries friend who freely roams thru peoples bedrooms examing undergarments. i love my low life friends. lol

and my laughing starts again.

SCHOOL DAZE

Another day of summer, gettin as much crazy stuff in as i can.

For starters, we tped pats house. pats my friend, but he bought all the paper, then wanted to go home. I cant run a life with people like this in it, so me and the guys tped his house. our best work yet. (pictures soon) couldnt even see his house from the road.

Juts finishin the script for my movie, and my dads company is premiering there dutch resistance documentary september 15. really pumped for that. Supposedly its so good, Celebration Cinema North bought it to show in their theater for a little under a month.

Hopefully this will open some connections for me and my comedy career

Water Prone

Summer is slowly wrapping up......... and after a week i lost of it from sugery, i had a side affect of it.

im officially water prone.... a disease i call waterx3

1.) Jenny's party, jumping, trampoline water bombing, tube wars, wakeboardin, = water x3

2.) Holly's cottage, sea doo, cold water, wakeboarding = water x3

3.) Dave's boat, grand haven, spring lake, diving off front= waterx3

4.) Val's friggin cold hottub = waterx3

aside from this, ive found a pretty cool remedy. i get free burger king now thanks to noah. anything, no quantities, just pure BK.
